"Was pretty good food. They have English menus. They also have 3/4 course meals for 30/40$. Doing the multi course meals was really fund. Allowing everyone at your table to try different foods. Wine was solid. Not overall pricey for the experience."

"We visited France again, and during our tour of the Loire Valley, we stayed in Amboise. The town is certainly charming, as is its château, but this restaurant was honestly our most memorable meal during our 10-day stay in France (which included Paris, Bordeaux, and other small towns). The atmosphere was amazing, the vibe cozy, the service so personable and great, and the food absolutely incredible. My husband and I still talk about the cheese course, the sweet ladies who waited on us, the bread, and the meal in general. It was just so pleasant and even though we ate later in the evening, we were not rushed to finish despite staying a bit past closing. You simply must stop by and enjoy this place."

"Great experience! Food was great! Good prices on the pre-made menus. Staff is very nice. Owner is even nicer. The steak was cooked to perfection, the desserts were nice and fresh. We were Kayaking/cycling and she offered to fill our water bottles for the trip. Will be back."

"We called for a reservation and the table was waiting for us. We enjoyed the outdoor setting across from Chateau Amboise. The owner was delightful and kept the place flowing. Lots of good choices. The cheese selection was amazing. Amboise is busy every where and this is only mid May!! Reservations are a must."

"We were recommended this restaurant by the amazing staff from ibis Amboise, and they were dead right. The food is simply amazing, the staff (especially the owner) are friendly and helpful. As others have said, make a reservation as it gets busy really fast. We got in right when the restaurant opened so we were lucky, but the restaurant was full within a half-hour. Parking was easy to find nearby (5 min walk). Overall, I will definitely go back when I have a chance."

"Perfect food, perfect service, perfect sky for the sunset. The first night we saw this restaurant, they were fully booked. The second time we came, we were late for lunch and we had to book the restaurant to solidify our spot. We were finally able to try them out and it was well worth the wait. We an amazing experience with L'Epicerie. The staff were so warm and accommodating. She took the time to explain our food especially the cheese. The food was exceptional. Everything was absolute perfection. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who appreciates food. You won't be disappointed."
